Company Information

  • Can you deliver to Jersey?
Yes, delivery to Jersey can be arranged.
  • Can I delay the delivery of my electric moped or bike?
Yes this is possible, please just leave a note in the order comments at checkout.
  • What happens if I’m not there when the bike is delivered?
The carrier will contact prior to delivery to arrange a suitable time for you. If you are not there, we will attempt to deliver the bike again another day.
  • Do you offer pay monthly, credit, lease or hire purchase?
We do not offer pay monthly or credit schemes but you can always apply for PayPal credit and then use that when you checkout on our shop. We use PayPal as our payment provider so as long as you have been approved by PayPal to have credit then you should be able to use it for our bikes.
  • Are the bikes new?
Yes, the bikes are brand new and have never been driven before.
  • Is there a warranty with my electric moped?
This is dependant on the supplier you buy your electric moped from. If you would like to know more please contact us and we will find out for you.

No maximum speed on the EAPC bikes is 15MPH.
  • I dont have a provisional or full licence, can I ride an electric bike?
Because electric bikes are in the same legal category as push bikes and not motorbikes you are not required to have a license to ride one. If you are over 14 years of age you can drive on roads, cycle tracks, bus lanes - anywhere you like really. You aren't legally required to wear a helmet either (although we recommend you do). You don't even need insurance, tax or MOT.
  • Will I have to pay a congestion charge on my electric moped?
Currently, there are no congestion charges on any electric moped or electric bike.
  • I dont have a provisional or full licence, can I ride an electric moped?
If you do not hold a full driving licence but hold a provisional motorcycle/moped driving licence then you are legally bound to undertake a one-day CBT course (Compulsory Basic Training). After successfully completing your CBT course you will be eligible to ride electric mopeds but you are legally bound to display L plates. Please check the DVLA website for further information
  • Can I ride my electric moped without L-Plates?
If you hold a full driving licence and have done so since before February 2001 you are eligible to ride an electric moped without L plates and without taking any further tests. However, it is strongly recommended that you complete a one-day CBT course (Compulsory Basic Training) prior to riding your new electric moped. Find out where to take your test at rideto.com

You are legally responsible for wearing a motorbike helmet at all times when riding your electric moped.

Yes, but only after 3 years, and then every year thereafter.
  • Do I need to tax my electric moped?

Technical Information

  • Can I store a helmet in the seat?
Yes, all our mopeds will take a helmet of some sort but it depends on the size of the helmet etc.
  • The product I want mentions there is no black box, can one be attached?
Black boxes are available but not unfortunately not from us. There are bolts which can be used to fit a rack and back box on some of the mopeds and bikes.
  • What is the best way to charge the bikes at home? Does it need to plug straight in or can the batteries be removed and charged separately?
All of our bikes have removable batteries and can be charged with the battery on or off the bike via a standard 13 amp socket.
  • When it says a bike takes 4 – 8 hours to charge, what are the factors that affect this time scale?
Air temperature can be a factor but most batteries will charge from flat in 5 hours. Most people charge overnight to have a full charge for the following day.
  • How do I get my electric moped or bike repaired or serviced?
The bikes we sell work very similarly to a conventional 50cc moped so most bike/scooter/motorbike mechanics will have the competencies to repair them. They also have less moving parts than a conventional motorbike and so have less that can go wrong. You can also find specialists in a lot of areas for repairing electric mopeds, they do however usually charge more per hour.
  • What is the range of my electric moped per charge?
The range depends on the electric bike or electric moped you choose to buy. We have listed the range individually on each of the products on the website.
  • How much does my electric moped cost to run?
Your electric moped will typically cost on average 17p to fully charge.
  • Where can I get parts from?
If for any reason you need spare parts please contact our support team.
  • Does my electric moped require any maintenance?
Your new electric moped has very few moving parts, therefore, there is virtually no maintenance required, however brakes, tyres, lights and other parts that involve wear and tear do need to be checked on a regular basis.
  • Where can I charge my electric moped on the move?
Your electric moped can be charged at public plug sockets around the country, at home in a plug socket. Some of our supplier’s bikes also have removable batteries.
